Isolation Test
Isolation Test
The Isolation test allows you to run a resistance test with high voltage over
a period of time to test wire pair insulation. The test, also referred to as a
leakage test, can reveal highly resistive faults.
Snapshot
The isolation Snapshot shows measured isolation resistance values for
each lead combination. The page also displays a snapshot of the pass/fail
status, Resistance and a Soak Counter for each selected wire pair. When
running the test, the counter counts to the selected Soak Timer by the
second, for the wire pair(s) under test.
To access Snapshot page:
1. From the Copper main menu Test Groups, select Multimeter 2 test
.
2. From the Tests menu, select Isolation test to start the test.
By default, the Snapshot page opens.
The current group and the current test which is being measured is
displayed in the status bar, for example Multimeter 2\Isolation.
