Replacing the Air Filter
5. Using the screws as handles, gently pull away the fan compartment.
6. Position the fan compartment vertically so that you see the top of the
filter.
7. Lift the filter with two fingers to remove it.
8. Slide a new filter back into place.
9. Put the fan compartment back in its bay (it should be flush with the
unit’s front panel).
10. Turn the fan compartment screws clockwise until the compartment is
secured into place.
11. Remove your antistatic strap.
12. Reconnect the unit to its power sources (turn on both disconnect
devices) and turn on your unit.
13. If you are using a fiber management tray, put the protective window
back into place. For more information, see Working with the Fiber
(Patchcord) Management Tray on page 36.
