Solving Common Problems

Problem Possible Cause Solution

One of the LEDs remains

off.

OR

One of the LEDs remains

green or red even if the

status is Warning.

LED is burnt.

Verify LEDs (see Verifying

the LEDs and LCD on

page 29).

Contact EXFO.

Pressing the button

does not activate Pass/Fail

mode.

 Unit is currently

nulling offsets,

verifying thresholds or

verifying LEDs and

LCD.

 Let the unit complete

the operation.

If the unit was

verifying LEDs and

LCD, press any key to

return to your previous

mode (Pass/Fail or

Normal).

 The current threshold

set contains an

unusable (corrupted)

value.

Descriptions on

page 31.

 No threshold sets have

been defined.
