8 Using IQS Products in an
Automated Test Environment
EXFO supplies commands that follow the guidelines determined by the
SCPI consortium and LabVIEW drivers for all available instruments. EXFO
also supplies COM properties and events allowing you to build your own
application.
Your application can be developed using LabVIEW, Visual C++, .NET,
Visual Basic or any other language that runs under Windows 8.1 Pro.
The present chapter gives you information to help you use the provided
commands, drivers, as well as COM properties and events to remotely
control your instruments.
